From a fan of all walleye fishing circuits, no FLW video clips in the morning and during the course of the day is a real let down. The AIM circuit always rocks with that coverage and the live leader board web site always seems to have has multiple AIM video clips too, as the tournament day progresses. Also, AIM's GPS coverage on the top 5 anglers final day tournament coverage is phenomenal and I wish all tournaments would do the same. It's the next best educational tool in learning new waters and figuring out what mistakes I've made while fishing the same bodies of water. I've become a much more efficient angler without any second guessing my fishing tactics and decision making while on the water. Also, the multiple shore clips of AIM anglers presents massive insight, confidence, and their willingness to share knowledge to educate the public how to find and catch more fish. Last and most important, "catch, photo, and record". That fish is released back into its environment at the catch site for optimal survival with a cool hero shot holding it. Seriously, FLW needs to upgrade their walleye tournament coverage if they plan on keeping up with AIM. Just an idea and question for AIM; could we get circuit sponsored seminars or clinics with the winners of each tournament, the angler of the year, and the circuit champion during the off months at North Eastern Wisconsin retail sporting goods stores and sports shows?

Larry,
OutdoorsFIRST would have been at the current FLW because of the location on the Wisconsin Valley, but FLW again scheduled an event during the ICAST show, the most important yearly event in the fishing industry for news and information about new and improved products and much more. The decision to cover ICAST instead of the FLW even though the tournament was on Bago was a tough one, but we opted to be at ICAST and I'm glad we were.

We intended to be at Bago for the final weigh in today, but because of a canceled
flight, won't get back into Milwaukee and to our truck until 5 PM tonight. Oh well...

The decision also was made to focus more on the MWC and less on FLW this year at WalleyeFIRST. Several reasons, including the fact the Red Wing FLW was in conflict with one of the AIM events. Hopefully, the FLW Walleye Tour will gain back some health next year and the varied schedules won't be quite so conflicting for our crew.

Thanks Steve for the insight. I purchased an FLW walleye magazine yesterday and that's what started my post. I was wondering if AIM too would come out with a cool walleye magazine in the future? If so, it should look like the cover format of the walleye magazine that came out right before the walleye insiders hit the stands. I believe they were the forward runners to the insider magazine for a year or so.
