| Looking to buy a 3 bank charger and have narrowed it down to one of the Minnkotas. This will be to charge my 24 v trolling motor and then the cranking battery. The only one's Cabela's has left are a 5/5/5 system. Will that be enough or do you guys think that will be adequate? I would like the 10/10/10 but again, they are sold out. 5/5/5 almost seems like a trickle charge to me.
Why Cabela's and not somewhere else? I have gift cards to use there.
Thanks in advance.

| How quick are you in need of one? Minnkota is coming out with a new line of chargers for 10, a 10 amp would be a better choice |

I have a Minn Kota, 10-10-10 sitting in the garage collecting dust. I'd sell it to you but I do not want the hassle of shipping. |

| Chris, it depends on the amount of fishing you do... I used smaller chargers for years never had a problem. if your still waiting for cabelas, don't they have in store catalog pick up? order and pick up in the store? Also might want to go with a 2 bank charger for the TM, and a portable for the main battery. I picked up this nice little one at walmart that works great for my main battery ( a big optima) throw a charge on the main battery before an outing. |

| I did find one down at Cabela's and installed it. Bought the 10/10/10 and so far am happy with it.
Thanks all. |
