Location: Rhinelander | The reports are very good from the prefish, no matter where the Pros fished numbers were easy. The water is much higher, and the fish didn't leave the are this year, making for a shootout for the AIM field of 52 competing for a top prize of $30,000.00
As Chad Schlling said in an AIM interview this morning, "It isn't a problem catching numbers, but..the right fish?"
The weather was a bit stormy this morning with scattered thundershowers in the area, and wind driven by those storms hit the mid 20 mph range. The forecast calls for temps in the low 90's, and moderate winds; exactly the conditions of the last couple days of prefishing.
Watch for the live weigh in coverage to begin at about 4 PM central time.

No Bull...Jesse Buechel Leads Day One AIM at Akaska
The Pros all talked about the hot bite during pre-fish this morning, and predicted the leading weights to be in the low 20 pound range. Oahe stepped up and surprised most of them, rewarding Akaska's favorite Bull rider with over 39 pounds and the lead for day one.
