Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | Predictions look for falling water levels and little to no rain. But it still looks like it is close to flood stage. Last time I looked it dropped .06 in 6 hour period. Fish will be hard to find but close to the banks. The old “one eyes” may be king. Water Temps: LA CRESCENT DAM 58 GENOA DAM 8 55 LYNXVILLE DAM 9 55 CLAYTON 60 GUTTENBERG DAM 60

Location: Devils Lake, ND | One eyes, two eyes, red eyes, blue eyes. I don;t reallycare what they bite on as loing as they are walleyes.
I will keep my personal opinions out of the discussion. Looking forward to competing with the best teams in the business. It will be a challenge like no other.
Best of luck to all those attending. See you there. |

| I'll let you guys know what it's like down there on Monday. I'm headed down there this weekend for some fishing with a couple good friends. Should be interesting to say the least. At least we shouldn't have to worry about taking any lower units out on a wing dam. |

Location: LaCrosse, WI | There are good fish to be had, the winners will likely catch their kickers in the first hour each day. The whole key will be, who finds fish the day before the tournament. What people find 5 days before the tourney probably won't be that helpful on tourney day. Good luck to all. |

| Well, this is what they get to deal with. Fish are being caught, but no pattern. Lots of debris in the water. Water is about 12ft above what I saw in 2005 & 2006. Water clarity is very poor as well. I'm guessing maybe high twenties for the winning weight. If you get a limit each day, you should be in good shape. It's too bad because I don't think this tournament will show everybody what these two pools are capable of.
A special thanks to the group of guys I stayed with while I was down there. It was a fun time. I wish them the best of luck in the tournament.

Location: Rhinelander | We'll see, I think they will find some fish. Sue has surgery today, or I'd be fishing the promotional event today and would offer a report. We won't begin coverage until the weigh in tomorrow; can't leave until Sue is in the clear.
OFM also has an outing in progress on Vermilion, Thomas Allen and TJ are 'covering' that...lucky #$^@#9$%^.

Location: Orland Park, IL | Sounds like the handliners will be out. On another note, do you need to lock through? I remember a number of years back, on the mississippi near illinois, bass boats very flying down the river right through the locks. Wonder if that changed at all with 9/11 and/or safety? |

| Yes, Komo, you do have to lock through. I know Johnnie joked about that while I was down there, but it is highly illegal. They some how managed to keep a white buoy just before the damn to mark how close you can get to it.
It will be interesting to see how people get their fish. When I was there, pretty much no one was fishing the main river channel. Too much current and debris. Everyone was in the back channels. I guess the water is dropping about 6 inches a day, so that will definitely change things. Someone will figure it out, someone always does. |
