I have been using the snaps exclusively since its just so convenient to switch out lures.

Am I missing the boat by not using the rapala knot on my cranks, especially the ones that roll.?

I see no difference Mark. Snaps are just as good.

I my opinion you get more action with a snap, less friction with the metal on metal contact point.

Jeez! Get the guy off of the Illinois for a couple of years, and we have to train him all over again! It's all about the speed that you can swap lures to the "hot color" with, Mark! lol

What size/kind of snaps do you use?

Do you use them for everything (trolling, casting, jigging, etc.) or just certain applications?

I've been thinking about trying them, but haven't been able to get away for the knots yet.
