Location: LaCrosse, WI | Very good read. Al is much more eloquent than a lot of us, but with the same general philosophy. Well put, and refreshing to see a pioneer and icon sharing a perspective that's not shining a false positive light on issues that many of the players feel are hurting the game.
I would consider this constructive criticism and really hope more people, icons or newbies continue to offer suggestions, and not just say they've fished for x number of years and need to be paid to help the cause. |

Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | It is a good read, however, he seemed to sum up what has been said for the last couple years. We do not have a governing body to oversee all this hoopla. |

| I agree Stacker....(put that on your calendar), a lie detector is not enough, maybe for the large events, but your average river rat tourney breeds ill will as these tourney directors/bar owners are not going to go the distance to do this.
I do like how he said he would have done it differently knowing what he knows now.
Lets see who is the FIRST to have the gonads to stand up and say NO TO TEAMS!
Or who will be the first to establish a rule set for Teams!
Good luck

Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | As you and I have discussed in the past tyee, gonads are not what they need. A governing body is what is needed. Why do we need that stacker? Because there are two business' running right now. As long as there is someone to compete with on a business level, one or the other will not do ANYTHING to hamper the possible amount of participation in there circuit. It would cut into there bottom line.
Way back when, everyone said it was good to have 2 circuits because it keeps them honest. I disagreed then and I disagree now. There is only so much to go around in the game, splitting it is in no ones best interest.
