| Cool question Dennis!
I would suggest the Eyecon series of rods from St. Croix! @ $100 per rod and really awesome quality for the price. Also - for @ $50 - the E-Z Lube System. For the angler who has everything - change lower unit lube or check it midway through the season, in less than a minute! Third times a charm? Beckman net!
Good luck! |

Location: LaCrosse, WI | That 7'6" MLXF Eyecon is on my hit list. Can't think of a better rod for working a 1/8oz jig across the face of a wing dam. |

| What about a new set of OffShore boards. |

| I was looking at the Eyecon rods also, but the In-fishermans Gear Guide says they run about $120.
Are the Eyecons as sensitive as the Avid series I have now or at least comparable, just wondering before I order some? |

| I think you can still squeeze about 4 Rapalas in for under $100, but that is before the prices go up this spring |
