| I need a QUALITY fillet knife. I have multiple rapala and berkley and those are okay, but they get dull easily. I would like a knife for cleaning eater walleyes, crappies and panfish. So it needs a thinner blade. I have an Knife of Alaska, and that is a great knife that stays very sharp, but it is a little thick for smaller panfish and crappies and smaller walleyes.
Any suggestions? Money isn't to big a deal, around 50-60 bucks. Not going to spend a hundred and I have an electric knife and I'm not a big fan. Do a lot of camping trips and need something I can use in the bush.
Thanks! |

| Wusthof makes a dandy but it will cost you. Remember when you get into high-end cutlery it is NOT dishwasher safe and will stain. Of course it will hold an edge 20x longer and is capable of being 5x sharper. You get what you pay for when it comes to fillet knives. |

Location: Berlin | If you are really looking for the best, get anything made by Shun. They use VG10 steel and is by far the best on the market but are very expensive. Of course you can fillet a fish by just looking at it with one of these knives. |
