Some of the lakes I like to fish have very clear water (20+ ft visibility) and I am always trying to refine my presentation a bit so I don't spook the fish. Is green mono really low visibility compared to clear mono? Thanks for any thoughts and input.

It use to be that green mono was the ticket for slip bobbering on Mille Lacs , Last year with the advent of Zebra mussels and subsequent water clearing on my boat and my friend boats clear flourocarbon performed a bit better . I think as water clarity improves floro will clearly (no pun intended ) work better for bobber and perhaps slip sinker rigging on those waters where the water is clear. My winter fishing is confined to open water in the southwest (lake Powell, lake Roosevelt ,San Carlos ) there I use fireline crystal even in gin clear water. Thats just my observation

The ice video I've taken in super clear water shows the clear line to be the least visible.
