Sorry, but I'm tired of watching "so called hunting shows" on a game farm. In the real world, you actually have to get out of your John Deere Gator and sit in the woods for more than 10 minutes to experience what real hunting is all about.

There are no real hunting shows on TV, everyone shows the gamefarm in the closing credits.

Guest, your version of hunting as it is shown on television reminds me of my father's idea of what happens on some of these hunts. To a person who has never been involved in the making of a hunting video it would appear that all someone needs to do is walk out in a Game Farm, find the buck you want to video and stage a canned hunt to make it look like a real harvest. In truth, I am sure that this has happened in the past. THIS IS NOT HUNTING!!!

I have been fortunate enough to hunt at places where Realtree Outdoors has hunted. I've hunted through two outfitters in Saskatchewan Canada that both were featured on Realtree videos. One such outfitter told me that Bill Jordan and David Blanton each hunted over 100 hrs on stand to harvest the buck seen in the video. These hunts were condensed into a 30 minute show with the highlights shown. Do you really think people would be entertained to see a guy sit in a stand for 80-100 hrs before they shot a deer? Just because you see the end result with a nice buck being harvested doesn't mean that they hunted in a Game Farm.
