Location: Darboy USA | Heard first hand today that more than likely there will be a new circuit for the Winnebago system this coming year. Preliminary dates are 2 tournies in May, 1 in June and 1 in July. The whole system will be open for all of them. 65 boat limit and have heard that it will be first 65 to sign up for all 4, then going down the line kind of like others do.
Payback will be 85%+ depending on sponsors, etc. Fees will be $150/tournament with $20 initiation fee. There will also be a huge contingency program from Triton offered and also a smaller contingency for those who purchased their boats from Boat Doc in Lomira. However, all makes and models are welcome.
Based on what I know, this is going to be a great circuit run by local fisherman, for local fisherman. Like I said, if you are a Triton owner, you will want to be in this circuit!!
More details to come......... |

Location: Darboy USA | Once all his permit applications are confirmed he will be able to announce all the plans, should be within 30 days I would think? It's gonna be a very well run circuit and would guess he will have no issues filling!

Location: Berlin | All four tournaments will be out of the Pioneer Marina in Oshkosh and the launch fee will be free for the entire weekend of the tourney and they have room for over 200 rigs. If teams want to rent a slip and keep the boat in the water it would cost 1$ a foot, boat size, for slip and power per night. We can also tie up along the wall over night on saturday with no power at no cost, but you take a gamble if someone robs ya.
More updates to come!

Location: Berlin | Here is the latest from Josh:
May 15
May 29
June 26
July 10
All on sundays, one day events
unsure on fish numbers yet
15inch size
First 65 teams applying for all four tourneys will be taken, if doesn't fill will take individual tournaments after. I would guess we will give everyone a chance to fish all 4 until 3 weeks before tournament, then open it up for single tourneys. Late fee will start 1 week before tournament date.
No rules meeting, all info will be sent via email. Any other questions will be answered the morning of tournament, keep it simple.
$20 membership fee per person all members will receive 10% off most parts and accessories at The Boat Doc
Boat number given by entry time
Catch and release.
$150 entry fee per tourney as of now worst case would be $160
Tournament is based on points. Every tournament you get points if you fish. First place 200 etc. On the last tourney, July 10 we will pay out for the tourney that day and then pay out for the top teams of the year, unsure on how many we will pay down yet.
I may switch the location of tourney, working with city. If that happens payouts will increase. Working on some other cool stuff that hopefully I can get.
Will have info posted on my site as soon as get info from city. www.theboatdoc.com hopefully coming soon.

Location: Darboy USA | Now THAT is how you get people signed up and excited to fish a circuit!! If all the changes on the personal side were timed out differently, I'd be signed up for all 4 in a heartbeat! Maybe next year will be different.
