I have a 332 that I take out of my boat and use for ice fishing. I have an ice fishing tranducer for it. When I first put the transducer in the hole, the unit does not work. The screen does not scroll. After a period of time, the unit will work great, untill I remove it from the water and put it back in the water. It will then take time to work again. Maybe 5 minutes or more somtimes. Out of the water I have noticed that the transducer does not always click at first. It seems to need to be pointed at a hard floor. I don't know if it is the unit or the transducer. I would like to have another opinion before I buy another transducer.

I talked to Lowrance. I was looking for advise if it were worth my money to buy a new transducer. There advise was to turn off the machine every time I change holes. I have never seen anybody with another brand do this. I don't think Bill Nye works for Lowrance customer service. My Lowrance GPS does not work properly. My Lowrance sonar does not work properly. My last Lowrance GPS did not work properly. Lowrance support does not work properly. Time to jack up the radiator cap. Bird in the hand.
