Just released pics of Skeeter's MX1825. It's meant to be a multi species boat. 18' 4", Single or dual console and a 50" livewell in the back. No jump seats. I hope to have more info soon. It's supposed to have a very nice looking price tag set up with a 150. It will be a little bit before we get that info yet.

Sweet looking. Keep us posted with updates. Always loved their hull and now I love the openness of this rig. What is the max HP?

Max will be 200, but they don't recommend putting an outboard that weighs more than 475lbs on the back. The 150 is the perfect match for this boat. I'm thinking a 150 pro xs would be a sweat set-up. If you can find a 175 pro xs, that would be even better. I heard a rumor that it hauls a** with a 200 on the back. 150 should be perfect for it.

From what I hear, they are trying to get it to be under $30,000 with a 150 and all the other bells and whistles except a kicker and electronics. It's supposed to be a price point boat. Lots of bang for your buck. Pricing will be a little bit yet. I need to see it in person before I can make my final decision on it. From what I see, it should be a nice set-up for the Bago system without breaking the bank.

The MX 1825 will be sold with a single console, or dual consoles with either the full windshield or the bubbles.

How long are the rod lockers on the bow? and on the side storage? Looks like 6 combos fit in the side storage, correct?

Can you get a 200hp on it with an 8hp kicker?

I really love the new layout, especially the back deck. Thanks for any info.

The bow rod locker will take 7'6" rods with ease and possibly a 7'10" or 8'. Yes 6 in the side and up to a 12' rod. you can get a 200hp and a 8 or 9.9 kicker.

Anchor Marine in Appleton, WI, has a dual console one in their showroom with a 200 hpdi. I guess it is their demo boat. I mention this because I know there are people out there that want to see one in person.

I saw another post on other site, that Skeeter has a 20 foot MX in the build stage to be ready for the spring boat shows!

Anyone that wants to test drive the new MX1825, should head down to Mr. Marine of Fond du Lac Friday or Saturday. They will have one with a 175 opti on the back to test drive. Looks like the weather should be descent. Friday 9-5, Saturday 9-2
