| Hi all-
First time poster, long time follower. I'll get it out of the way right now and say I'm a dumb musky fisherman or let's say, fish with teeth chaser. My friend Mark Komo said it'd be a good idea to pick your brains now that he's living out East, so here I am. I've been trolling Winneconne and Poygan for the last 2 seasons with decent success as long as I'm not too early in their run back to the lake. This year will be the first time I try to tackle Bago itself. Looking for some insight on colors you guys like to troll. If I understand correctly there's an immense shad population in the big lake and the water has been clearing more after the past couple years. This makes me think natural colors will shine but can never be to certain.
I'm looking to troll open water over the mud for walleye in mid June on through the summer.
What color cranks and crawler harnesses do you all prefer?
Looking forward to reporting back good or bad after the week of 6/19. Thanks for the great website and any help you can pass along.

If he's a friend of yours, he probably needs a lot of help |

| Gonna be hard to beat the chicken on Cty Z off Castle Rock Mark. I owe you a Gyro from over by dere when you get back.
Viking and Rich, good stuff and thanks for the info thus far. I'm always full of questions and if ever out of line just say it. After the years on Erie, big water = big blades to me. Alot of #7's in my line up, should I be running smaller blades?
At this point it looks like the we'll be following the Merc guys around the first weekend. Shouldn't have any excuses for coming in light during the week.
Might sneak in a day or 3 on the Bay also. Anyone care to help there as well? |

| Thanks Rich, got the smaller blades ready now.
Can anyone recommend a good launch on west side of the lake? (relatively close to where the fish are LOL) Should be an interesting detour leaving from Princeton, 23 most likely shut down still, any updates on that? |

Location: Berlin | Right now the Miller's bay launch seems to have the most fish around it. Launch and get out past monkey island and you will see PLENTY of boats and most are trolling. That will give you a good idea where the fish are. |

| Well i can tell not what to do because we trolled last night the west shore in neenah and fished blue silver salmo, thundersticks, flicker shad, and wally divers, mixing baits up all night 10-13 ft of water at 1.5 -2.1 mph running line behind board 30-60 ft back and never caught a walleye all night 6-930. I did that because that is what i have heard everyone is just slayin em' on I have a lake chip in my locator and we fished all around, over and through the reefs and didn't catch a walleye only 3 sheeps. that is my advice if i were anyone I would not troll like we did last night |

| wt89,
It seems that the bite yesterday ended at 9:30 in the morning when the wind died.
Tough lake when it flattens out.
Take care,
