Location: Rhinelander | The morning dawned cool and partly cloudy under calm conditions as the MWS Championship field left Menominee Marina. The Teams WalleyeFIRST's reporter Keith Worrall talked with said the pre-fish was slow, but expectations are still high there will be some good weights come in.
The temps should hit sixty today, with light to moderate winds out of the south east...perfect conditions!
The weigh in begins at 2 PM, but the scales are set up so if a team limits, they can weigh early.
WalleyeFIRST Tournament Coverage is brought to you by Lund Boats, The JJ Keller Fishing Team/The Reel Shot, and Mercury Outboards!

Location: Freedom, WI | Congrats Gary and Eric, it was nice to meet and chat with both of you at the banquet! Steve and I had a blast this year at the events competing against some really solid anglers, and hope to continue fishing in the future! Thanks to Jim, Ray, the sponsors, Walleyefirst, and the rest of the MWS crew for running the events this year! Positive publicity from events like these will only improve public morale for tournament fishing. |

Location: McFarland, WI | I want to thank Jim and his crew for putting together this championship event. I really enjoy fishing with this group. They school me at every tournament. Congtats to Gary and Eric, Ron and Vicki impress the heck out of me every year. If you want to learn about fishing the bay, fish the MWS next year. Off to the northwoods.
