| The forecast today for Bismarck is calling for clear skies, 77 degrees, and mild winds 3-5 mph. Match that with Day Three of the FLW Championship, falling water and intense walleye nuts beating the water to a froth and today's outcome will be interesting for sure. Someone will be on them, but the overall mentality seemed to be unsure as many of the good fish have come from one or two spots.
"I have been finding my fish away from the pack," says 7th place sitter and National Guard Pro, Bill Shimota. "I have yet to catch a good kicker fish over 22 inches, but consistency is the name of the game. I am confident the fish I need to make the top 10 cut this afternoon are there, but I really need to get a couple big ones, I'm due!"
The Missouri River Cluster yesterday may have taken its toll on the available fish in that location. There was drama, but fish were still caught and it can be assumed that anglers will be hitting that area again. If they want to stay in it they will more than likely need to find an alternative option. This stable weather makes the existing fish eat, but a weather front will force more fish to move in and take up residence on prominent structure. It will be an interesting weigh-in for sure!
The weigh-ins will be held at 5 PM in downtown Bismarck at the Bismarck Civic Center. Stay Tuned for more updates this evening.

| Navionics Pro, Tommy Skarlis maintains his dominance on the Missouri River in Bismarck, North Dakota buy owning Day Three's top spot. He was able to put together a quality bag that was enough to put his Co-Angler for the day, Todd Dankert in the hot seat for the 2011 FLW Walleye Tour Championship Victory. Todd won and was elated to bring home $5000 plus $2000 of contingency money. Skarlis was emotional!
"Today was about getting Todd in that winning position," Skarlis said misty eyed. "I have been apart of teams in the past where my co-anglers won the championship and it is the best feeling to see them proud of their accomplishment. Todd was a heckuva stick and I would be proud to share my boat with him again any day!"
Skarlis maintains the lead over Walmart Pro, Dean Arnoldussen by just under 3 lbs. and tomorrow is sure to be a shoot out. The patterns that a lot of anglers have been finding their fish under are beginning to dry up, but Bill Shimota sits in third place. Mr. Consistent.
"I have weighed just over 17 lbs each day and if I can do that again, I stand a really good chance at taking this home," says National Guard Pro, Bill Shimota. "I am not cashing the first place check just yet, but I am feeling good about tomorrow."
