| I will be ordering a Gen 2 in 10" & 8" in a couple weeks .How will I know if my units have the update? |

| I bought a hd ten last year are there updates for it to make it a gen 2 or am I screwed

You cannot make a Gen 1 unit, your unit a Gen 2 unit. However, there is a software update for the Gen 1 units. You can download software 4.1 at this link.

The Gen 2 units are completely new and completely different. They have a new processor and StructureMap. The Gen 1 units didn't have enough of a processor to run StructreMap so that is why they brought out Gen 2. You have a great unit, don't worry. |

| I was going to get structure scan this year so are you say the processor won't be able to run it effectively so do not get it? |

| The Gen 1 run Structure Scan just fine, its when they went to the StructureMap that they needed the increases processor speed and internal memory of the Gen 2.
So the bottom line they run Structure Scan just fine. |
