| I have a 2004 Yamaha 115 4stk that has some issues. Its fuel injected just so everyone is clear on that because I have heard too many people tell me to clean the carbs....hahaha, anyways, It started about 2 wks ago prefishing for a tourney, when at midrange throttle (3500 rpms) it missed a beat or two, but seemed to run ok wide open and at idle, I blew out the fuel filter because I couldnt get one in time for the tourney and changed the spark plugs and I made it through the tourney without a hitch. Since then it seems to be missing at all ends of the throttle range. It starts like new, and seems to idle fine, but it has started to miss when getting on plane, and at midrange just cruising down the lake, and also WOT. I have a fishin trip in 2 wksand a tourney 3 days before that, so if anyone has some quick checks before I bring it in to a Yamaha dealer, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance. | |

| Sounds like your power pack might be going. Same thing happened to my johnson motor. What you described was the same way my motor was acting. | |

Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | I would guess you picked up some water at a fill up. Four strokes will act just like that if there is water.

| I had the same issue and it was the fuel injectors. Had them cleaned and the motor ran like a top. | |
