| just an observation, today I was using a buddies new 165 Classic and had been looking at purchasing one. However the driver seat base sets so far away from the console I have to lean forward to reach the wheel and it is very awkward. cant sit up straight. I'm 6ft and I thought that pretty odd. |

| Sounds like the kind of boat for me. Most boats have seats that are squished or scrunched to close to the console. You may be able to have the Alumacraft dealership place the seats in the locations that are ergonomically sound for you. Good Luck and have fun!

| There definately is no worries about being cramped. I'm really interested in the boat he has instock but I don't know if it would mess up anything slightly relocating the pedestal base. Such as hole in the floor or moving it to where it doesnt have proper support. I can lean forward to the wheel but I'm afraid that would just lead to a sore back not being able to sit up straight and drive. I dont think my wife could hardly even lean forward enough to drive it. |

Location: Badgerland | when you order your boat tell them not to mount the drivers seat at the factory. I just bought a new Lund and they mounted my seat at the dealer where I was there to instruct them. |

| I've been looking at the same model and initially had the same concern. Turns out the seats have sliders so you can adjust some. May want to try that. I'm just a touch over 6ft and although it might could go another inch or two, it is not uncomfortable. |
