The temps are already creeping up and winds are brisk; it will be bumpy North and warm everywhere. The bite is so good, no one is looking to change up much other than look for bigger fish using the same techniques as yesterday.
The winds are now forecast to 22 with higher gusts which will change some angler's approach.
The weigh in should begin about 2 PM. We'll keep you updated on the iPhone as much as is possible.
WalleyeFIRST Tournament Coverage is brought to you by Lund Boats and Mercury Marine.

Ann awesome job by the top teams. We all knew it would take big weight to win this one and they sure layed the lumber to the big-ens. Congratulations to all.
Take care,

Who is Ann?
But I agree. Great tournament. Congrats to the winners.
I wonder why it's taking FDL so long to dredge those lagoons? Don't they realize how important this weekend event is? It should have been done years ago. People want to see the weigh on Oven Island, and the boats pass under the bridge.

Cost to dredge is estimated to be near one million dollars.

OK? What does this event bring to the local economy?
Wouldn't this be considered one of those shovel-ready projects BHO is so fond of? Aren't there some Obama Bucks available to stimulate the economy even more than it is?

I preferred the Oven island setup over the old logoon by a factor of 100. I have never seen the lagoon in good condition in the 13 years I did the Merc. The old setup was great for the viewers but crummy for the participants.
Take care,

Is it true, 75% kill for the tournament this year?
