| Rick Bryson and Galen Bremmer had an very suscessful day on Pools 5, 5A, and 6 despite some incredibly high water conditions to WIN MMWS Fountain City 2012. Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin had significant rains well over a week ago and by the time the runoff reached our neck of the woods it made for some challenging fishing for our teams once again. Galen and Rick locked down into Pool 6 and fished south of Winona in a slough known as Swift Creek. There they found a limit of respectable fish hiding from the heavy flow. Jigs tipped with plastics and live bait was the tactic of choice and helped net them 12.20#'s and an eye weighing 3.85#'s to also capture BIG Fish honors. The duo took home $800 and 19 points to boot.
Team Tom Beck and Tom Brye opted to stay in Pool 5A to find their own solid limit at 10.31#'s and fished an area know as Kieselhorse Bay going into Devil's Cut. Pitching jigs was their plan of attack as well and allowed them to capture second place and $225.
