| To all Oconto contestants:
You will soon be receiving your packets in the mail from Kathy. Please note that legal waters for this tournament will be the Bay of Green Bay and the Wisconsin portion of Lake Michigan ONLY. Michigan waters are off limits. I apologize for any confusion on this and look forward to seeing everyone in Oconto.

Location: Badgerland | "This prevents competitors from needing to purchase two licenses. " This has never been a problem for everyone who has fished the FLWL and FLW for years out of Marinette, Oconto or Green Bay, especially since the boater was responsible for taking care of the Co's if they needed a MI license, it takes 5 minutes online.

| 620's quote is from the email I also got from Kurt . I'm more than a little disappointed MI has been eliminated as an option. |

| I as well wanted to see MI in play for this derb, but rules are rules and there will be plenty of fish to be caught in WI waters. Good luck to all fishing this AIM event! |

Not sure where you got that from.
I never once had a Pro offer to pay my MI license. I have been asked if I had one, and told to get one if I didn't. Same for FLW Erie and a Canadian License the year we were there and Canada waters were open. I had to get my own license.
And I never was told to pay for a Co-Anglers license when I fished the FLW League.

Location: Badgerland | I guess I got it from the rules meetings when Sonny would say "boaters if your going to fish MI waters it's YOUR responsibility to make sure YOUR co's have a MI license , do whatever YOU have to do to make this happen" @ $7 a day who pays for it is a petty dispute after the hundreds of dollors each has invested. I just figure as the boater making the decision I would cover the cost. My co's had them already last year so it wasn't an issue, but I was prepared had I needed to get them set up for the day. So maybe I took it upon myself since you personally never heard it or interpeted the way I did, so I must be wrong. lol... Either way the reason given for the boundries is light duty. |

| Thats never been said at any flw rules meeting . Got to be the dumbest thing i'v heard all year. Get your facts straight before you post. |

Location: Fremont, Wisconsin | I will just say one thing about the boundrys. The hotter it gets the smaller the bay will fish. May be quite the site if they get 100 boats.
As for 620, he is right, I have heard sonny say this. I never assumed i had to pay however, but to each his own. no reason to get all pissy about it. |

|
| That was about word for word as I've heard it several times at the rules meetings through the years. |

My bad, This is my interpetation of what Sonny would announce. I guess due in part to my personallity, if I make a decision that will incure extra coast to someone I will cover said cost. |

| We decided we would fish only Wisconsin waters when the tournament was announced. The decision was made because we wanted to showcase the Wisconsin waters of Green Bay. If the tournament was won in Michigan, it really wouldn't help Oconto much now would it...
Isn't the FLW at Escanaba just fishing Michigan waters now?

Get rid of the acronym, please.
Roster is usually announced the week before, hopefully that will be the case here. |
