| Rick Byson and Galen Bremmer win MMWS Pools 6&7 Trempealeau with 8.15#s including a 3.94# Big Walleye capturing them $800.00 in winnings. The duo fished jigs and crankbaits on wingdams on both pools, yet only scratched up three key fish to nab... the win. Greg Brehmer and Nate Cadwell trolled three way bait combinations in Pool 6 opting to fish backwater sloughs. They eaked out a four fish 7.51# limit to take second place and $225.00. Great fishing in tough conditions guys!
Next event is the Season Championship September 8th and 9th on Pools 4 & 5 launching from Alma Marina north of the City of Alma. The nine best MMWS Teams from 2012 will be fishing for trophies and the title of best walleye team on the Mississippi River. Weigh-in is at 2:30 at the Alma Marina, everyone is welcome to attend both days!
