Happily spent the last few hours of the day with Trap. A regular user to WalleyeFirst, and a resident of Collins Marsh 15 miles from my home of Manitowoc.
If you've read the thread entitled "Da Smoke Pole Has Spoken", you already know that Trap took a nice buck yesterday, and he ask me over to see it. Course I took my camera along, and have selected a few of the shots for your viewing pleasure. These can be found amongst the links at the bottom of this post.
He also took me to visit Jesse Haese, who is a budding Wildlife Artist. If you should have the chance to catch a trophy, you should consider his service. Its perfect work and you won't believe his rates! If interested, just contact Trap through the inbox of this site, as he is good friends with Jesse.
Otherwise, please take a good look at the picture entitled "Double Racked". There is a good reason for Trap's devious grin!

Nofish.
I don't think it would score very high, as Trap was holding the bigger rack on with his hand. Now Rick, remember what we talked about with holding or falsifying pictures. |

Come on Ralph, you can admit you were fooled!
Seriously, Trap ought to be sharing more of his outdoor adventures with us. He lives in a great wildlife area and has alot of very interesting stories about past hunts and fishing trips. And bet he'll have a few to tell in the future!
Do know he is planning to fish the Junior RCL League with his new boat and is very excited about it. Don't know what some of you WalleyeFirsters think about this, but he looks more legitimate on these photos than most of those big shot "Pros" on the covers of these fancy magazines!

Location: Green Bay, WI | The other thing about Trap is, what ever he tells you is the truth. At least that is what he is always telling me!! So I guess that means I have to believe him. |

Location: Rhinelander | In between icefishing and open water fishing, there is DEER HUNTING here in Norhtern Wisconsin and Northern Michigan. I sure enjoy the tradition and family I associate with the season, which including black powder, is only about 18 days long. There were several threads about hunting on near every fishing site originating in the North, including here.
This may not be walleye fishing, but it IS what many walleye anglers do in between open water and good ice. I know I sure do. |

| Enjoyed the pics Rick. Unfortunately, not all of us had such luck this past season to get a nice buck like Trap's. It's still good to know though that there are bucks of this quality in the area, as it didn't seem that way this past year. On the up side though, just wanted to give Jesse Haese another good recommendation, as my dad took his Canadian walleye to him to have displayed, and his work is truly amazing. And as far as his wildlife paintings go, they are almost lifelike. Hard to tell him apart from renowned wildlife artists, he is that good. |
