Location: Manitowoc, WI | Yes, now that winter has reared it's ugly head and the ice has taken over my favorite water (LBDN), it's time for a heavy thaw. Bring on the sunshine and heavy therms.....;) Sorry Troy, but this winter stuff needs to go...and it really hasn't even started yet!!!
I'm at work now, semi-bored, taking a break and, of course, dreaming of open water. Anyone got a cure for what ails me? I wonder how much of the mouth of the Fox in Green Bay is open? Might be able to launch a boat and vertical jig around the pilings and discharges. Does anyone have any info on this? I'm hoping to get out this week. |

I somehow feel I should know you. I've fished the Fox a few times with my buddy Jim. He and a partner just started a business in Newberry. And if your bored in Michigans U.P., you have a untreatable sickness, or your hobbies are to narrow. |

Jerry.
I'm the same guy who got up, went into the bedroom and grabbed the philips screwdriver out of the closet the other day, and forget why I grabbed it by the time I got into the living room.
I'm impressed that I even vaguely remembered and put your name and location into perspective. By the way, thanks again for buying and shipping me those Genz Worms. That was you right?

Location: Rhinelander | Whoa, no way. I just got out on the ice for the first time today, and had a great time despite only catching a few crappies. Eventually, I will have a Winter home in the south, but will still stay here for the ice fishing until mid January, Seasons are a good thing! |
