Subject: The Deep South or Southwest for Walleyes




Location: Rhinelander		Anyone fish the deep south or southwest for eyes during the winter? My son does a trip to New Mexico every Christmas season and spanks them pretty good. It CAN be cold there at that time of the year, but for sure it is warmer than here, and there is NO ice.

Not for eyes, but have for sand bass and catfish in Texas.

Where in New Mexico have you fished walleyes? There are a couple really good river systems in the NE part of the state.
