Location: blue mounds, wisc | its down to the playoffs and anyone can win this season.congrats to the packers and most of all the arizona cardinals.i have to say that the packers are playing their best football right now and can use their emotional high and win three more and claim the championship. alot of other teams fell off their peak and i dont think they can over come the downward roll. |

Great topic right now.
This is one of the greatest moments in Packer history. During the course of these last 2 games, all of us Packer Fans have had an emotional roller coaster ride, that will never be duplicated, ever.
This Packer team is on a roll, and am looking forward to an exciting playoff game next Sunday.
Just think, if they continue this 4 game winning streak in through the playoffs, on to winning the Superbowl, this last week WILL be the most important and significant time in Green Bay Packer History.
OH BABY - GO PACKERS!!! |

Location: Rhinelander | Even though I knew the pack won, I saw the score in the fourth and wrote the season off. That must have been one heck of a 4th quarter between the Vikes and Cardinals. |

Location: blue mounds, wisc | it really showed that the bi-queens were never as good as there 6-0 start. then lose 7of there last 10 games really puts the pressure on coach tice`s back. this can be the beginning of a very remarkable roll that would make this season one to never forget. peeking going into the play-offs is what makes champions. after getting upset last season at home to the falcons i think that will be the focus this week.one game at a time
GO PACK !!! |

Location: Manitowoc, WI | I was lucky enough to be at the game yesterday. What you saw on TV was just a fraction of what was going on in the stands and on the field. We were 8 rows off the field and had players and fans alike getting information on the finish of the Vikings/Cards game. A man sitting next to my wife and I had a radio and was listening to the Vikes game. It was like an E.F. Hutton commercial when they scored and it went under review. At least 300-400 in our section leaning forward, waiting the eord. When they called touchdown, I was running up and down the stairs passing the info., high fiving anything that didn't move, and screaming at near the top of my lungs.
The party lasted till late last night, and this old body couldn't handle another night like last night. Unbelieveable to think of the emotions going through fans, not to mention Brett Favre. When we were screaming Cardinals win, I swear he looked directly at me and broke into a big smile. Then the sidelines erupted as the word got down to the sideline the Cards had indeed won. TOO COOL!!!!! |

Location: Green Bay, WI | Being here in Green Bay and being at the game on Sunday is and was great! The thing is being in town and listening to sports talk radio all day, you almost get full of Packer talk and emotion, that you get numb and can't enjoy a victory as much. Even with that said, when word of the Cardinal win came down, the roar that came out of the stadium could be heard across the river to the east side of town.

| Congrats guys, hope the Pack can make a run out of it this year for you. While it pretty much "sux to be me" as a Viking fan, I think we are close to having things turning for the better here. At least if Red keeps his mouth shut! I'm already starting to look forward to next year. We'll be about 20 million below the cap, and we only have 2 free agents to deal with, this off season. Finally the Denny Green era will be behind us, and we can quit paying him and finally sign a couple key free agents....... imagine Jevon Kearse in purple and gold and lined up next to Kevin Williams for the next 5 years! |

I'll be honest with you, I was celebrating my 15th anniversary with my wife on Mille Lacs catching perch, and at the time of that paticular play, I said what the hell, and popped the second bottle of Champagne! That is the trueth. Afterwards, I told her that it was probably best for this team in the long run. They hadn't done anything in the last 6-7 weeks to deserve to make the playoffs, and this will make them that much more hungry for next year.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, I did tell my wife I had not drank enough to forget this any time soon.

Your very right about that statement. If the Vikes would have made it, they would have congratulated themselves beyond comprehension. Giving themselves no reason to improve!
But *alas*, the poor Vikes are saddled with a lengthy past that always brings them hairs short of glory. Including finding this continent, but not settling it! |
