Location: Menasha, WI | Yep. The gates are open at Menasha and the current has noticeably eroded the ice out in the NW corner of Bago. Yesterday there was open water the size of a football field, today it's 3 fields, tomorrow? A couple more weekends to try for that first lake trout through the ice and I'll be ready for open water.

Come on Jerry, you know as well as I do that Red Wing and the Illinois River are both producing nice fish by boat. Two weeks ya' say? Bet other Mississippi River locations and the Wisconsin Dells will be just about ready to pop. Ill meat ya at any landing to help work out the kinks. What kind of boat did ya get? |

The new ride is a Skeeter wx 1850 with an F150 Yamaha, MK Terrova80 w/co-pilot and Lowrance HDS on console. I'm getting it on the 15th of March because we're starting an outage that week and I won't have time to fish until late April. If you take a look at a Skeeter catalog it's the same boat and color shown on display. |

Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | Sweet ride Jerry..... Congrats
Jim, don't believe rumors. A month doesn't go by that I am not in a boat. On a side note, I don't see Main Marine listed at the Milwaukee Sport Show this year. That must be a first. Think they were there 40 years running. What gives? |

Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | They are talking rain here on Saturday and Sunday with a high of 51 on sunday. At least our rivers south of us should start opening up. Fort Atkinson area may be going soon. Ill bet the Milwaukee Harbor will be getting lots of boat traffic. Are they talking any rain north? |
