Just wondering how much does the average fisherman relly on
fishing maps. and what are some of the first things you guys
and gals look for?
Myself as we speak i have 3 different maps of the winnebago system
hanging on my wall. That way as i talk to fisherman i note areas to
check out. And by looking at these maps alot im able to get a good mental
idea of how when and where im going to fish them.
Just wondering.

a good conture map is a very good way to eliminate alot of dead water. i look for sharp breaks into deep water, and food shelves along main lake basins. under water humps, and something different from its surroundings. fingers that change depth. long under water points that extend into deep water. after finding said areas i then fish them.
