| What are your plans for 2004? Are you fishing any Tourneys? Are you planning any trips to big fish waters?
I will be fishing the MWS with Sunshine, the Lake Erie RCL as a co, and probably the RCL leaque in WI. Hoping to get in the Merc Nats with Zach this year. I will also be going to LOTW for eyes and ski's the end of August for the 2nd Annual MF Sabaskong Bay outing. Other than that, there will be plenty of day trips on local lakes, and several to the Bago chain.

| Jerry,
Of course, the kids! I should have mentioned that as my most anticipated trips. Thank you for slapping me up side the knoggin! Here's a little highlight of one of last year's outings with my Lauren.

| All the RCL's, the MWC at Spring Valley, and we're trying to fit in the MWC at Saginaw Bay and Chetauqua amongst our 200 Team Crown Royal promotions that we do in OH, MI, WI, MN, NE, ND, and SD. Rick and I want to have some fun and fish a few events together this year, that's why we are going to fish whatever MWC's we can.
When someone asks me where we are taking a vacation this year, I will most likely say, "HOME"!;-)
Needless to say, we'll be on the road a lot. I'm figuring close to 300 days. Whew...I get tired just thinking about it. LOL
Have a great season everyone! Be safe.

So far have committed to the MWC Challenge including Saginaw Bay with Pete Huibregste. Thinking about the RCL Walleye League and/or some smaller events like the WWA or the TFM. |

| Well, this year is starting to come together like this. RCL Lake Erie (co-angler), followed by a couple (3-4) MTT events (Mn. Tournament Trail), the Wave Wacker Invitational, then the Camp Confidence Classic fund raiser, and all before the third week of June, then the annual couples tournament out of Mac's Twin Bay on Mille Lacs, and then 1 maybe 2 more MTT events in July. Hopefully my wife and I will do well enough in the MTT's to qualify for the Championship on Lake of the Woods in September. Other than that, it is just guide, guide, guide. Hopefully I'll get a couple days off to go fishing!!! LOL

| As for trips this year Huron in the fall and I would like to hit the Bay of Quinte. They pulled some big fish there last fall. More protected than Erie too. |

Location: Rhinelander | Merc National, the WInnebago Walleyes board website tournament, and a couple Muskie events. I am headed to the Goon for two weeks this summer, which will give me enough time to hunt up some of the absolutley HUGE walleyes that live there. I usually am there for a week and spend all my time trying to put a monster muskie in the Frabill.
Thr Wabigoon OutdoorsFIRST outing is July 10th through the 17th on Wabigoon Lake in Dryden Ontario. This is trophy water for every specie of fish there, and the lake kicks out walleyes from 30 to 34" pretty regularly. It is a flowage, and is very fertile and full of fish. If anyone is interested in the trip, I will post more as I get pricing from the resort. It would be nice to get a Walleye group up there with the Muskie Addicts! |

| If they can reel them in, they can fish them. I've had both my daughter and son out when they were 3 and 4. Daughter caught her first eye on Bago when she was 4. |

Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | Thanks Rick,
It's not as grueling as it sounds. Some tournaments are the next day at the same location so they were no-brainers. Hey, I'm there anyways.
Others, I'd be fishing that location already because I'd be prefishing for an upcoming tournament. Again, why not enter a tournament that's going on if I'm prefishing that water anyways.
Hope it makes sense.
I probably just gave away some good strategy and will have more company in some of these tournaments as a result Hey, as long as they're WF folks, that's fine.
How about you Rick? Will our paths cross at any tournaments?

I hope so Dennis!
Right now all that I have committed to is the MWC with Pete - and mainly cause of him. Otherwise, plan to sit down with Pete and figure on the rest of it to see if it fits. His job may restrict him from entering to many.
You have given me some good insight into managing the schedule and will buy you breakfast, lunch, and dinner should we meet at one of these tournaments!
Oh wait, lunch is out - we'll be fishing...

I never eat right before a tournament. Too many butterflies.
One of the main reasons that I do what I do is that feeling I get in my gut right before take off. Same feeling I had right before a sporting event when I was younger. I always tell my co-anglers that, and tell them that if they don't have that magic feeling they should. ZOOOM |

| What do you think the turnout will be for that GNWC tourney in Winneconne. Last year they only had 17 boats. I think the weather was bad though. |

Get the same feeling Dennis. Not sure how I got through that first PWT in Port Clinton last year. Had so many issues to confront and then with the thrill of my first ever big time tournament, it was amazing that death grip I had on the throttle actually engaged the engine.
Still to this day can't remember much of the happenings I was so excited! |

Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | I'm expecting a low turn out at the GNWC tourney in Winneconne. It's the same weekend of the RCL League on Petenwell. That is unless the PWT boys who will be there prefishing decide to enter it because they'll be there anyways. Flip side is you know as well as I do that there are always local sticks on that system that enter any tournament they get a chance on.
