Location: Manitowoc, WI | Saturday and Sunday my son and I took the new ride out for our first trip. We fished the west side channels for pannies. The crappie and bluegill bite was great with a few perch mixed in. That bite should stay good for quite awhile. We were in the channels related to Cowling Bay. This Friday I'm taking a co-worker out to try for walleyes on Winnebago. If anyone has a report it would be greatly appreciated. Good luck if you go!!

Location: Menasha, WI | The annual spring late evening shoreline bite is starting. I got one and missed a few others last night, jig/crawler. I suspect they're not far from the shoreline during the day.
jerry, I heard it was bumper-2-bumper in those channels last weekend.

Location: Manitowoc, WI | Viking,
On Friday afternoon and Saturday it was terribly crowded. We got in our spots both days very early. On Sunday we didn't get in until around noon. By then many had left so we got back in our spot with little boat traffic.
Anything on day time walleyes? I'm planning on starting at the rivermouth Friday and working from there. I'm not doing any tourneys so I have no reason than other to have fun. |

Location: Menasha, WI | The late evening shoreline bite has remained steady but not yet spectacular. Been picking up 2-3 eyes a night along with a cornucopia of other species. Slips/jig/crawler. 8:00-8:30 seems to be the feeding window. Might actually take the boat out one of these evenings and see if I can really get in to 'em. |

| Pilgrimage back to Winnebago tomorrow morning. Winds are said to be strong out of the NE (25 MPH), so I'm thinking Neenah area to be on the lee side of the lake. Any one launch on this corner of the lake that is better than another? Plan on trolling crawler harnesses up tight in skinnier water using my TM, and jigging/slip-bobbering reefs if the waves don't scare me to death. |

Location: Menasha, WI | The buoys aren't in yet, so going out of Jefferson could be a bit risky if you're not familiar with the area. Neenah Rec is probably a better choice if you don't know which areas to avoid. |

| Decided to live and fished the river to avoid a disaster in those big winds Saturday... The cold beers around noon were better than the cold chills in our bones that morning, I'll say that! |

Location: Manitowoc, WI | Yes, I launched out of Jefferson Park last weekend and proceeded to chew up a new prop in the process. I won't be back till they put the buoys in. |

| Ouch Jerry, on the new prop!
Drive a bit further, and launch at CTY A. Best part is you can stop by Paynes Point, have a great burger and a cold beer, AND also might be able to give Dale some grief! |

Location: Menasha, WI | Ouch! I navigate the channel 30+ times a year and I still clench a little while traveling through there without the buoys. |

Location: Neenah, WI | Gee thanks Shep. Like I need a referral from you!!!!!!!!!! LOL. Good weather is coming, docks are in at the landing and the barge is there so I'm thinking they put the buoys in now. Be safe. |

Location: Menasha, WI | May have been my best day ever on Bago...I stopped counting at 15 eyes and kept reeling 'em in (then letting most go). In addition to numbers, I got size too. I started out at 5:30am trolling harnesses in 16fow and got 3 fish over 23" with one of those near 26" -- Purple Cisco 20' back. At 9:00 my battery died so I pulled up on the edge of a reef in 8.5fow and casted 1/16oz watermelon jig/crawler towards the top of the reef...one fish after another, slide 50' over, one fish after another, slide 50' over, one fish after another. Caught quite a few in the 18"-22" range along with some nice eaters for the box.

| Nice job. We were up Friday and had no succes trolling raps and flickers as well as jigging reefs. Spent most time working southern reefs and nada. Tons of boats on Long Pt and appeared to have same luck as us. What a difference a day makes:)
Guess we hould have tried meat.

Location: Manawa Wiscowsin | My brother and I were out on Monday 6/3/13. Jig and leech didn't work. The fish were biting short and taking half of the leech. We then tried trolling in 9' to 11' from Blackbird north and picked up small eyes from 12" to 15" using old fashioned 2 1/2" Mirrolures.
I fell at the landing and needed some help. I don't know the name of the person who came to help me but if you read this post; THANK YOU!!! |

| Perch seem to be hitting pretty well. Haven't been out in a while, but the kid and I fished for a little over two hours and picked up a dozen plus two walleye. Perch were 9 to 9-1/2" (measured) and had good girth. Didn't even have to sort through them...all the ones we got were keepers. Lost another 5-6 that felt the same size. West side, off reefs in 10.5 FOW. Just worms. |
