Location: Rhinelander | Zwick and Kobriger pulled 31-11 early, and waited to the very last to unseat Bill Van Ornum and Travis Wagner wieghing in at 57-01. Van Ornum and Wagner weighed in at 52-13 for second.
Third went to Oconnell and Spiegel with 50-10, fourth to Navis and Sprengel with 49-05, and Daniels and Hoinacki rounded out the top ten.
The weather was the story today with either no wind at all or gale force and horizontal rain. The weigh in finished in a downpour with a ton of cloud to cloud lightning.
Techniques were predictable, with shallow fish coming on spinners, and some on cranks, and deep fish falling to both techniques as well. Purple and gold were the hot colors. Spinners did well, but cranks put some very nice fish in the net. Mentioned were number 9 flicker Shads and Ralalas.
103 boats fished the event. It took 44-14 to get into the top ten. MWC Final Leaderboard WalleyeFIRST coverage of the MWC is brought to you by Lund Boats and Mercury Outboards.
