Your sd card shouldn't get damp. I'd only use it if there was a issue. Use electrolte greese on all other connections.

Be careful with lubrication. I had an issue with a new HB last week and they told me that lubing a plug could void warranty.

Radio Shack has a product called Electronics Cleaner. Spray bottle with a little brush on the end. Safe for all electronics, has just enough of an oily residue to lube the metal and rubber parts of the plugs. Have to be careful with any grease on delicate electronics, can interfere with performance. Likely why HB stand on lubes.
