| You should be able to get 24V by running leads from 2 of the batteries. Your 36V system has batteries #1, 2, and 3. If you use a + off of #1 and a - from #2 you will have 24 V. I wanted to run some 12V power back to my downriggers, so I tapped into one battery for the port and another one for the starboard, ran 2 wires (+ and -) from each battery. I don't use the 36V when salmon fishing, so putting additional load on the system is not a factor, charge it up when done for the day. If you are using both trolling motors during the day, obviously, you will drain the 2 quicker than the other one, and will not get maximum efficiency out of the 36V system. Use regular fuse protection and check with a voltmeter before hooking up to your Vantage, to double check tht you are getting the 24V that you need. Doesn't "seem" it should work, but the voltmeter will prove it out. | |

| Got that bass-ackwards, sorry. You will use a - off from batt. # 1 and a + off batt.#2. I'm going to go stand in the corner now. | |
