Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay.
Friend of mine asked me today if I remember that fierce thunderstorm that moved through Bay and Tuscola Counties 2 weeks ago in the middle of the night. I told him that I sure did, the thunder and lightening show woke me up several times.

He then pulls out his cell phone and shows me a picture of a HUGE tree he has on his property and where lightening had hit the tree and split it down the middle. WOW I said, you must have heard that explosion in the house hey. He says "Yup, it woke me and the whole family up". I went out after the storm past the next morning to look at the tree and found something else had suffered the same fate standing underneath the tree.

That was not lightning, it was me. I had just eaten at Taco Johns. Glad it was just a tree and a deer and no humans were harmed while I exercised that gas demon...
