| Hello,
I have never fished the Illinois River and have no idea the depths or spots to fish or anything really. I was told that Allen Park in Ottawa was a good place to start, even though I have never been there. If anyone can let me know where I can get more information on that area it would be really appreciated. Maybe a map somewhere I could get with water depths, or what pool that area is called. I have literally zero information right now so any would be helpful.

Location: Chicago IL. | There are maps avail on the IL. River thru the army corp. Good launches at allen park. Be carefull this spring with the run off from the snow pack. Under the bridge across the ramp where the fox comes in is a good place to start. | |
