Location: La Crescent, MN | Rhinelander, WI - OutdoorsFIRST, a leading publisher of freshwater fishing news and content, has hired Ralph Muccilli to coordinate the e-commerce portion its business. Ralph's responsibilites include general management of OutdoorsFIRST's web commerce system, as well as producing original content for WalleyeFIRST.com's expanded tournament coverage. Ralph brings over 10 years of walleye and tackle industry experience to WalleyeFIRST.
"I see alot of potential for the commerce component of OutdoorsFIRST," Muccilli said.
The site, run under the name TackleFIRST.com, will offer mostly specialty and hard to find items from small builders. He added, "Species and activity-oriented sites like the OutdoorsFIRST properties are ideally suited for the niche products that TackleFIRST will offer."
"I am equally excited to be contributing to the expanded tournament coverage at WalleyeFIRST," stated Muccilli. "With the advent of the World Walleye Ranking system, even more will be at stake on the walleye tournament trails in 2004, and we'll be there to cover it."
Muccilli, a Member of the Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers and experienced walleye tournament angler, previously held a similar position for WalleyeCentral.com. Muccilli worked closely with tournament pros and industry manufacturers, experience which will serve him well in his new position.

Location: Menominee MI, In Da UP Eh? | Aw shucks folks.....I'm speechless.
Thanks for the kind words though. And as to whats on the horizon, man you have no idea! But one thing we will tell ya is, we dont like to make announcements till the feature or item being debuted is ready to go. Thus, the only things coming down the river right now are the soon to be opened tackle store and the Team Angler ranking.
And those will be released when we are sure they are correct and need only minor tweaking. It is not nice to, or not fair to anyone to release something for the sake of doing it and correcting major problems and setbacks on the fly.
I guess you will all just have to hang around and see!
And for the record I am very glad to be here and to be working with a few individuals that are on the cutting edge. Steve and Zach and the rest are all commited to giving you the best darn product on the web.
I also want to commend all of you for being here at the start of something grand, without you, we are nothing.
Thanks again!
