adding a kicker motor

fishnaddct Posted 2/24/2014 3:48 PM (#111351) Subject: adding a kicker motor New User Posts: 2 Hey guys, i'm buying a 07 crestliner fish hawk 1750 side console with a 90 HP optimax. i want to also buy a kicker motor for the boat but am not sure if the added weight in the back will have any adverse effects. i do alot of trolling with cranks and don't want to rack up hours on the main motor, plus kickers are a good backup if the main fails for whatever reason. Does anybody have a similar setup? any problems with too much weight in the back? or getting on plane? I've seen several 1750s with kickers. Had a 17ft Lund Impact, 90hp merc 4stroke and a 9.9 ProKicker. No issues whatsoever!
