Location: Rhinelander | The bite was better than quite a few folks predicted, with good weights required to make the top 5. The top teams all reported trolling cranks was the key, and Flickershads were the hot crank and won the event in 'glass purple'. Most of the reports were from Winneconne, Poigan, or 'the right lake' if one can figure that report out. The Champs found some clear water and credited that find for getting on the right fish to win.
There were fish caught in the river, in fact some registered in the CRR format were caught almost in front of the launch area.

| Great job to all the anglers in less than pleasant conditions. Congrats to Denny Fox for running a fantastic first ever AIM Weekend Walleye Series. Many of us knew he was THE MAN for this job! And great job by the AIM Facebook cameramen of Chase Parsons and Tommy Kemos, for the on the water footage, glad you guys made the safe trip from Trenton back to WI to do that for all the people out there watching.
All in all looks like this was a VERY Successful event with great things to come in the future of competitive Walleye fishing.

Location: Menasha, WI | I could have cracked the top 15. Granted, I was out at sunrise an hour before the tourney and before conditions got too bad. There was a good bite of nice fish going on Clark's Point in the morning until all the tourney boats came charging in at once to get a spot and sent their wakes smashing into shore -- you'd think tourney anglers would approach a shallow water slip-bobber bite with a little more stealth. I picked up 2 more 18"ers after they arrived and picked up a 22" trolling my way back to the Poygan landing after the bite died on Clark's.
