The competition segment of the event was split into shore/boat fishing categories, offering the option of fishing the famous walleye run from near or on the bridge or as team from a boat. There were plenty of walleyes caught, and from the comments during the weigh in, the entire event including instructional seminars, the tournament, and more was a tremendous success.

Krystal Kallas won the Shore Fishing division.

Theresa Martin and Kay Hull won the boaters tourney.
