Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | I hesitate for a couple of reasons posting this thread. For one, I kinda hate disrupting the string of tournament news dispensed here with any kind of a fishing, equipment report or review. Especially when it contains touchy subjects or specific persons who seem to be magnets for lets say less then complimentary remarks. (Often in the past myself included) Of course since this site has switched to all registered members with real names, most snipers think now before pulling the trigger.
Personally, I've always liked reading about and/or sharing new techniques or product ideas that make catching walleyes easier. Don't really matter to me who's ideas or products they are. I have limited space on my boat for a vast variety of lures, equipment and technique options. If they work, I want them aboard my boat. If they don't they're gone in my next garage sale.
Some items or lures are proven fish catchers year after year. Most of these items are proven, old stand by lures or components used in conjunction with other components to make a successful lure. Crawler Harness Blades fall in this category for me. With that said, here's some new Blades by Tommy Harris on the market this year.
These are 8 new #5 Holographic colors that are different on both sides. Tommy calls them "The Cougar Series" blades. The pictures show both sides of these blades. The harnesses themselves I tied up. 3 of the colors are the hard to duplicate AntiFreeze color, that has been hot for the last 2 season on Saginaw Bay. I got these from one of Tommy's more reliable outlets here on Saginaw Bay, Franks Great Outdoors in Linwood. You can get them there or on the www.bigeyespinnerbaits.com site.
