Reports are the bite is varied from mud to shoreline structure, the weeds are a bit behind, and the walleyes have been active. It should be a great weigh in this afternoon at Lakeside Park!

The bite was ON at the Merc National today. It took 19.8 to make the top 25. Leanna and Goehring lead with 25.26. Leitl and Ringennolds are in second with 24,56, Ehlke and Haedt in third a pound out of the lead, Meetz and Meetz in fourth with 23.24, and Foster and Deffner round out the top 5 with 22.76.

Some weather is about to roll through, bringing a line of storms through the area in advance of a cold front. Winds will go to the North East at 9 to 14 tomorrow, changing everything from the stable weather during pre-fish.

It's going to be interesting to see what adaptations are necessary to take the win. We'll have morning images up by about 8 am tomorrow, and will wrap up the weigh in by 6 PM. It took about 2 hours today to weigh in the 280 teams in the event.
