trap Posted 1/26/2004 3:00 PM (#12058) Subject: 1-25 ice action Member Posts: 103 Location: Collins, WI As we rolled out on the ice Sunday morning the temp. read -17. It was kinda cold out but the wind wasn't present. We ended up with 7 fish, a 19 and the rest were 26 to 30 inches. All were caught on No.7 jigging raps in a variety of colors. It was a great day on the water! I put too much time into that ice bite to give out the location. If so was it out in the Mud? 28 miles of long and 12 at its widest, lot of water out there. I spend most of my time there in winter, I just reported my day of fishing and forgot to say where. I don't know of any other place you can go and catch 5 over 26 inches in a day. How are things on Bago? I'd like to get out there now that the ice is better.
