Location: Rhinelander | Keith Kavajecz smoked 'em using a technique that is 'neither spinners or cranks' taking over first place with 27.80, about as nice a limit as one can ask for with the slot limit on the Bays. Over all the bite was very good, eclipsing the dire predictions. Most of the pros said it was because of the near perfect weather for the bite, even though they beat up gear and body running 6' seas.
Jason Przekurat is in second ounces back at 27.57. In third is Roy Vivian with 27.01. Fourth is Tom Kemos with 26.89, and David Kolb rounds out the top 5 with 26.75.
A top ten did indeed require over 24 pounds as predicted by Jim Carroll in an OFM interview this morning; in fact 24 pounds and change was 16th.
The weather looks to hold tomorrow, so the 'blood bath' Chad Schilling predicted looks to be a reality. NWT Leaderboard
