I have a Vantage Trolling Motor that I would like to trade or sell. I am looking for a bow mount 24V 50+ lb thrust trolling motor, either foot or hand control. The motor is in great conditions. I purchased from Cabelas in spring of 2001. Motor cost $991.00 new.

It is in very good shape. I have used it mainly for drift fishing on the Mississippi River. I can take a picture of it if you would like. I paid $999.00 for it in 2001. I would take $500 or trade for a bow mount with 60+ lbs of thrust.

If you're still lookin' for a motor, I have a 2001 Minn Kota 60PD Cabelas Tournament Series bow mount. 60 lbs. of thrust, 60" shaft. Never saw water last year. I'm going to a hand controlled unit.

I'll try to get some pictures this week. Not sure what the price was but I'll see if I can look it up somewhere.

Were you able to get a picture of your trolling motor? Where are you located? I am in Central Iowa.

Sorry, but no picture yet. Just too darn much going on, but I will tonight. I live in east central Wisconsin, so we may have to work out some sort of shipping if you're interested in the motor.

Is this the MinnKota with the foot control that has the long cable so you can operate from anywhere in the boat?

Here's the pictures of the trolling motor. It's a model 60PD (24 volt, 60 lbs. of thrust, 60" composite shaft) and has the built in Maximizer, Grip-Glide Mount, Micro-Touch Foot Pedal and Weedless Wedge prop. Not sure how long the cord is as the foot control is still in the boat in storage, but I think the cord is 18' if I remember correctly.
Drop me an email if you're interested.
Dave.

There is an authorized MinnKota Service Dealer in Des Moines and I called to get an idea on the value of each motor. They said the Vantage 74 is worth about half of cost or $500 dollars. The 60PD is worth half of cost or $275.00. Would you be willing to pay $200 difference?
