Location: blue mounds,wisc | I wanted to let you guys know that my grandson has beaten cancer and has a clean bill of health. it was a very hard year to see him go through this.now i will have the best partner in a few years,and look forward to grooming him to take over the pro walleye fishing circut,i had my prayer granted and im on cloud nine. |

Location: Neenah Wi | Larry that is GREAT news.My wife is battling cancer and it is not looking good right now.But you never know.I just can't believe the amount of people that have this.It just makes you sad when you see these young kids in the chemo room.Anyone there for that matter.Where was he being treated if I may ask? |

Location: blue mounds,wisc | RISOR39, MY grandson recieved his chemo at the UW hospitol in madison.his doctors were also from there. i will in the future spend time there with some of the kids that also have to deal with cancer. i want to try to get some of them out and do some fishing.it is very gut wrenching to see the little kids and everyone else going through the fight of thier lives.but to tell you all the truth that these kids are fighters and they dont let thier illness keep them down.i seen this first hand and that helped me very much.i will put out a prayer for your wife.its positive thinking that she needs and i hope all goes well.let me know how she is doing from time to time. good luck i feel for you and your wife and family |

Location: Chicago IL. | Risor 39 I went thru my wife and chemo treatments.NEVER say it dont look good. You have to look it in the eye and say it picked the wrong person to mess with. We went thru that percent of the people thing. You have to keep the mindset that you are going to beat it. I lost both parents to this cancer thing and I pray everyday that a pill will make this thing go away. Give me a call if you want to chat,,,it helps. Stay strong,John Mannerino |

Location: Neenah Wi | Thanks alot.You guys are the greatest.And cancer did pick the wrong woman to mess with.She will be fighting until god decides differently.Her spirits are high and thats a comfort to my kids and I.Thanks for the kind thoughts and prayers.Enough about my problems.Larry teach that kid well.He already won the biggest tourney of his life,a fishing contest will be a piece of cake. |

I have had a lot of people on these message boards say a prayer for my little guy a week or so ago. The people here are very considerate. I am very glad to hear about your fishing partner! I know what it is like to go through stuff like this. Lost one and almost lost another. Thanks to everyone's prayers, my little Fisher is doing just fine and out of the hospital as of last week. I am honored to be a part of such a great group of people!
