Location: Rhinelander | Walleyefirst is attending the Walleye Expo in Shakopee, MN this weekend. Sue and I have the booth set up, and Zach is on the way with the rest of our equipment. Watch this thread for reports and pictures. If you're coming to the show, stop by and say hello. We are on the first floor in booth 313. |

Location: Rhinelander | Boats are not a huge portion of the show, but I found several brand new models! The Triton 215 is turning some heads, as is Warrior's new Polyflake. Tuffy has an Osprey Pro here, Patriot has 2 2050 models, and a new Aluminum custom build is here, too.

| Geez, I wish I could make it this year. Especially now that I know those new "Lakeassult" boats are there. I've been wanting to crawl around in one of them for awhile and see what they are all about. |

Location: Rhinelander | Ralph,
The Lake Attack aluminum rig is custom built from welded plate and aluminum, and looks very seaworthy. The cost is middle of the road at $36000 with a 200HP 4 stoke and the 'toys'. The new Triton 215 is pretty cool, nice rig. The new poly finish on the Warrior is nice, too. Tuffy's Osprey Pro in Marine Electric's booth was in a poorly lit area, so a shot isn't in the cards unless I can get some light over there. I have a great shot of the Patriot 2050's here, and will post tomorrow. Ranger has several boats here, too. I will photograph what I can in the Ranger booth tomorrow, also.
The seminars were well attended today, and the crowd not too bad for Friday in Minnesota. Jerry and Kay Tipping are here, I will photograph the system they developed for storing planer boards onboard tomorrow, too. Jerry is also an accomplished taxidermist. He did a couple mounts for me, including a cool 11" gill and a 22" bass, I will see if they have any Taxidermy work in the booth.
There's LOTS more to report from the Expo, so watch this thread over the weekend! |

| While I can't make the show, if I could, it would probably feel a bit strange being there and not seeing Ron and Sharon Hunter there with their "Judd's Resort" booth. They and their resort were a first class operation up on "Winnie" and I and many others will miss seeing them at all the sport shows. |

Location: Rhinelander | The Minnesota Walleye and Bass Expo was a success. We had a great show and met a number of our regular visitors. We also introduced many Walleye anglers to WalleyeFIRST; to those folks, welcome aboard! Our next show is a Muskie show in Pittsburg, PA. Can't wait! |

Location: Rhinelander | The ride was a nightmare. Most of the way home was a slide, not a drive, but the F150 did the job! |

| It was a good show. We had video looping of the Gahagans, Minnemas, Joe Wilson and Randy Carroll, and Tom Diercks and Jim Siewert from the MWC World Walleye Championship in 2003 as an example of our video tournament coverage, people seemed to really dig it. The part where the Gahagans pulled the kicker fish out of the livewell was the crowd favorite.
The response to the the WWR was 100% positive. One thing I noticed is that it seemed to draw people in that weren't already tournament fans, which is good. |
