Location: Manitowoc, WI | I know the website folks are looking at placing a date for this event. I just want to get as many opinions as possible for dates for the outing.
I still prefer June 26th even though the MWC will also be going on. If anyone else has a preferred date, please submit it here. Thanks. |

I'm in the MWC event, so your putting me out...again. Sometime in July is better as there is less tournament action.
Month of June is always a very busy tournament time for Winnebago anglers. So it'll be alot smarter to find a weekend with less happening.

| The end of June is the traditional date for the event. I would prefer we stick with that tradition. No offense meant Rick.
Take care,

Location: Manitowoc, WI | Not trying to put anyone out, Rick. We've held this event the last weekend in June the last three years. We tried it one year in May and it was a disaster.....heavy winds and cold. We would like to have an event when the weather, if possible, is fairly nice and we can utilize a pavilion for food and drinks afterwards. I think everyone likes the use of Rainbow Park but we just need to set a date. |

Well buds, its not like there aren't many tournaments to choose from. Bet there are others who plan to attend the MWC that would consider this WalleyeFirst get together.
This date will lock us out. No Offense that its mentioned, right?

| Good Weather.... Lets see... I remember the 1st one out of Neenah, with high wind and waves. As I recall, a Warrior snuck over to the east side, out of the wind and kicked out butts, while another boat of local favorites found some rocks on the west side. (Please note that I did not mention names to protect the identities:) ) I also recall last year, we had a substantial east wind that turned the lake to mud and kept many contestants off the lake. The end of June has offered weather challenges, but it is a date we have counted on.
Take care,
Jim O |

| Has anyone contacted Lumpy about this, he has run this thing for the last couple of years and from what I remember did a good job of it. One more thing I saw another truck with ORDWAY on the side of it yesterday, everytime I see one I think of Jim sitting on his rear drinking wiskey at home with a huge smile on his face! lol Kitch |

| June 26 is good for me. Had a good time last year, despite imperfect weather. |

Location: Manitowoc, WI | Does anyone have Lumpy's phone number? I'd like to talk to him about this. Yes, he did an awesome job of running it the last two years.
Weather-Yes Jim O., the weather was aweful last year. But, typically, we have good consistent weather by that time of year. The first year when we launched out of Jefferson Park, a husband/wife team which shall remain nameless won it fishing the East side in a downpour with NE winds 15-25 mph. And that was in May. That is the reason why I would like to stay away from May. |

| June 26th works for me!! I remember that first tournament very well! The weather was awful and the lake was angry!! I am sure Jerry remembers our trip out there that day!!! I believe I speared a wave heading Northeast into a wave and filled the boat up like right now!!! We spent a 1-1/2 hours crossing over to the East shore and caught one dink trolling!!! The second year was a fantastic bite and believe we boated an easy 27 to 30 walleye, the third year I went solo Jerry was fishing a Saginaw tourney. That is when I was threatened by Jim Ordway, on the way down river that he was going to swamp me, I got even and believe I finished 7th on my own. Then I rejoined Jerry last year and we got soaked to the skin, in that down pour!! We both had fish spotted on Winnebago before the tourney but the East wind made her raging mad!!!! I am off that day and I will be there!!! Where do I sign up?

Location: Manawa Wiscowsin | We might have only come in tied for 13th place last year, but we would have come in in first place if there was a catfish division. Got tired of fighting the wind and waves and fished the river. Any date is OK with me, however I would like to see better weather. |

| I agree Jerry, at least we might have a wet and possibly warm day if all heck breaks out. Kitch, I will have you know that it is nothing but the FINEST WHISKEY. Thanks for the kind thoughts.
Take care,
