Location: Menasha, WI | I doubt the person I want to thank reads this site but I thought I'd post here to remind everyone that there are still good people in the world.
This afternoon my wife says, "Did you know your ice fishing tacklebox is on the front steps?" At first thought I thought my two boys must have taken it out of the garage, but after some more thought I realized the boys would have never had the opportunity since they never left the house after I returned from fishing yesterday. I then realized I must have lost it at the access yesterday and some good samaritan figured out that the box was mine by looking through the box and delivered it to my house. I wouldn't have even realized I lost until I went fishing next week. Again, THANK YOU whomever you are, $200 worth of tackle is more than I can afford to replace and you've reaffirmed my belief that there are still good people. |

Nice to hear of your good fortune. That person lives right, and will be rewarded eventually. Perhaps he already was, from the feeling he got of doing a good deed.
When I was in high school, I used to try to get a couple hours of duck hunting in before school. On one morning, the ducks were active and I overextended my stay. In my haste to get to school, I lay my shotgun on the ground next to my car as I changed clothes. I took off, forgetting it was there. I noticed a guy getting ready to go hunt as I was leaving. About 10 miles away, I had this feeling that something wasn't right. I stopped the car, and checked my gun case. It was empty! Immediately, I returned to the parking lot. To my surprise, this man was standing next to his truck, and when I pulled up, he held out my gun. I was so relieved, and thanked him. I really appreciated him sticking around to see if I'd come back, and giving up part of his hunting time. |

| Just to share a story...helped a guy with 4 kids who locked his keys in his car at the gas pumps north of Chip. Falls. Asked me for a hangar to open the door he had been trying to open for the past 2 hours. They were on their way up ice fishing. Having some experience in this problem, I took a piece of brazing rod and within 30 seconds had the door open. The guy offered me money and I refused telling him a handshake and the promise that he helps someone in need is all that I wanted.
We all go around this world once and all of us have special talents and skills that others don't. If we all share or talents and skills with one another...it will come back to you in two fold.
Lets take care of eachother out there!!!;)
