Subject: Holten & Steffen Lead Cabela's Masters Walleye Circuit Championship After Day 1

After a day of sitting around and or enjoying the sites around Cass Lake the teams were fired up this morning to kick off the Championship. Some of the teams are little bit worried about the fish they had been on still being in the same place as pre fish after last nights storms blew though. Lots of walleyes are being caught but few teams have been able to locate fish over 20 inches. Big fish will be the key to stay in the top 10.

As soon the the day 1 weigh in started so did the rain. Lots of fish were caught today. Carl Holten and Mickey Stuefen are in the lead with five fish weighing 17.01 pounds. Tommy Skarlis & Jeff Lahr are close behind with five fish at 16.08 pounds and finishing out the top three is Spencer Deutz & Ron Deutz with 15.04 pounds.
